Because London is a metropolitan place, most DSA centres are very busy and thus have a long waiting list (usually longer than 8 weeks), so make sure you give yourself enough time if you need a full driving licence urgently for work or other purposes.

The Pass rate for most London driving test centres will most likely be lower than the national average of 45% due to the more challenging traffic condition, complex multi-lane roundabouts, junctions and dual carriageways that you might encounter during the 40 minute assessment with the DSA examiner, this means that the likelyhood of you having a first time pass without help from a qualified UK driving instructor is low. This is not because you are necessarily a bad driver, but more due to the exacting requirements of the test, and the required knowledge needed to pass.
Foreign licence holders for example will have bad habits that are not acceptable here in the UK, and someone who has learnt to drive in a rural country town would find town driving in somewhere like Vauxhall Cross very daunting, so make sure you do take some driving lessons to get used to some of the test routes.

I intend to privide you with as many tips, advice and videos to help you pass the driving test in some of the more difficult driving test centres in London.

DSA London Driving Test Centre contact phone number 0300 200 1122. You will also have a local examiner contact details to use on the day of your driving test if there is snow, fog, black ice or other adverse weather conditions, so don't lose your appointment letter or confirmation email.
